Tomorrow, September 20, we will be back from our summer break and we are looking forward to seeing you!
More than two pandemic years are behind us and we are in the middle of the next catastrophe: the energy crisis.
For us this means that will have to go new ways together with you. From now on there will be no more lunch.
As a small café, we cannot and do not want to charge restaurant prices for our high-quality lunch specials and can only pass on the high price increases to our guests to a limited extent. Fresh vegetables and dairy products cost us around 24% more to buy, and up to 44% more for oils. The enormous energy prices and the rising minimum wage add to this.
We decided to quit lunch, not lower quality. Therefore, we’ll put our focus on breakfast & the soul of our café: our cakes & pastries. Here’s something new to try soon!
Starting tomorrow, there is also a new breakfast offer that you can enjoy daily until 3 p.m. Our beloved french foast and also the porridge will of course stay on the menu.
