Start the day with us and enjoy our long breakfast – How about this creamy millet porridge to get you ready for the day?
As every Saturday, there’ll be PANCAKES tomorrow filled with raspberries & nougat spread – made in-house, of course.
All hot dishes you can enjoy with us until around 3pm when the kitchen closes or all portions are sold out.

In Sweden, Midsummer is celebrated today. In the Alps, people celebrate the day by lighting hundreds of mountain fires.
We want to honor the beginning of summer as well and have collected herbs & flowers this morning. You will find them in your lunch and on our tables, sprinkled over sandwiches, and in some drinks.
We are also taking this opportunity to raise awareness about nature and how we treat it.
The annual Earth Overshoot Day is just around the corner, marking the day humanity has used up all the natural resources the earth can provide within a year. We as consumers in a developed country can help protect these resources.

Bonnie Wright @thisisbwright has just published her book ‘Go Gently’ which lovingly outlines simple, tangible steps to reduce our environmental impact. What and how do we consume? How can we work towards environmental change? Bonnie Wright addresses these questions and more in her book @gogently.earth.
The book ‘Ohne Wenn und Abfall’ by Milena Glimbovksi gives us many ideas on how to conserve our resources in our everyday lives ( @milenskaya ).

Finally, here’s a little green update from our garden:
Over the last weeks we have been busy growing, harvesting, and producing syrups in our little garden which we will use to make delicious drinks over the summer.

This year there are two variants to choose from:
Strawberry cake with mascarpone cream (vegan on request) | Ø18cm | 39€
Cheesecake with toasted Swiss Meringue | Ø18cm | 37€
You can order the cakes individually or in a Mother’s Day package with a bottle of Riesling sparkling wine from Hahnmühle & an organic spring bouquet (w/ Cheesecake 57€, w/ Strawberry Cake 59€).
Also, on Mother’s Day our café will be open regularly for you.
We offer two pickup days:
Saturday, May 7 from 14 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday, May 8 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
On Easter Sunday we will also have coffee, cake, & pastries for your Easter table at home.
As always, you can order via text message ( 0049151-263 89 182), we will send you a confirmation text as soon as possible.

]]>The US women’s socialist party established the first “Women’s Day” in 1908. Unfortunately even today, many of the goals demanded at the time, such as equal rights, self-determination or even the right to vote for women, remain unachieved around the globe.
Current developments in countries like Afghanistan even show a regression after years of progress.
Today and every day, we honor women* regardless of ethnic, national, economic, cultural or political background and we are proud of our team that is predominantly led by women every day.
Without these incredibly talented and energetic women, the café would not have made it through these hard times. THANK YOU to ALL of you.
Today we would like to draw your attention especially to the situation of women & girls leaving or sheltering in Ukraine.

The Zonta-Club is collecting donations in Germersheim today, especially for women & children:
